Passionately crafting intentional, compliant, and delightful user experiences with integrity and humility.

Who I am

I'm a Christ-follower, born in Canada, raised in Central New York, now living in the great state of Texas.

I love Jesus, who rescued me from the depths of my sin and is the reason I live. I think my family is pretty awesome and I take my role and responsibility as a husband and father seriously. My perspective on life was forever changed after my daughter Emma Grace died from cancer in 2017.

Everyone has a story; I have learned not to assume I understand why people act they way they do. Instead, I try and treat everyone with loving kindness and empathize with their struggles - which naturally lends itself to a deeper user focus with my work.

Education

I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and a minor in Psychology. It was during my college career that I was first introduced to programming.

Struggling through the finer concepts of C++ and Java, the web languages of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP gloriously arrived on the scene, prompting a deep dive into the web resources on W3C Schools and a desire to dissect and replicate every interestingly designed website I saw.

After a myriad of HCI and psychology college courses, I began to fall in love with the user experience mindset. Statements like, “Don't make me think” resonated within me and became my anthem as I began my journey into the work force.

Work Experience

Over the past years, I have had the privilege to work for and partner with startups, small and medium-size businesses, nonprofit organizations, web3 passionates, and global enterprises in launching, enhancing, designing, and building their digital products.

What I do not do

I have worked long enough to understand that I cannot do everything, nor would it serve you well. Though I have experience in many digital services, I only focus on items about which I am truly passionate. I refer out the following services to trusted partners:
